Jeep Safari Tour This is a true off-road four-wheel excursion. You will be riding in Land-Rovers to places only accessible to these special vehicles. The best viewpoints of the island will be reached. The professional drivers make this excursion memorable by driving steep terrain and introducing you with the plants, trees and ways of life in Bora Bora Drive through the small town of Vaitape on the shore of Pavai Bay where you will make your first ascent up Pahonu Hill. Great views of Bora Bora’s naturel Harbour and Matira Beach. Continuing on, make your second ascent for more off-road adventure and visit the seven-inch cannons still in their original World War II locations , then travel along the northern shore of Bora Bora into the lush valley of Faanui. The climate of the trip is the view of Faanui Bay from a traditional plantation high up in the mountains. With the trained guides at the wheel, you will not only enjoy some great sightseeing, and you will no doubt, learn much more about the island’s history and way of life. Lagoonarium Tour with Picnic on a Motu Full day tour to the Lagoonarium by motor outrigger canoe, cruising in the most beautiful lagoon in the world. A stop is made near the reef to feed the sharks. There two young Polynesian go in the water and pull a string between them. Then the guests can jump in the clear and warm water to wait for the sharks behind the string. A few minutes later the young sharks arrive attracted by the smell of fish that the two Polynesian throw in the water. All guests equipped with snorkelling items can enjoy the under water view of those sharks and the colourful corals around the site. Then the tour continue to arrive in a small islet "Motu Tupe". There the guests are warmly welcomed and after the distribution of snorkelling equipment they will follow their guide to swim in the turquoise and crystal water over the natural lagoonarium. Each kind of tropical fish have their own park: Rays and sharks, turtles, giant mussel, lobsters and many varieties of multicolour fish. This snorkelling last about 1H30, and then return on the white sand beach where fresh local fruit juice and fresh coconut drinks will be offered. Then around 12 noon, buffet lunch will be served : -Grilled fish, marinated Tahitian fish, rice salad -Mineral water -Fresh fruits : banana, watermelon, grapefruit ect…. Guests can relax on the beach or take a walk around this very small island before the return to their hotel.
